In a quest to track down the origin of coherent vibrational motions observed in femtosecond pump-probe transients, whether they arise from ground/excited electronic state of solute or are contributed by the solvent, we demonstrate a method for extricating vibrations under resonant and non-resonant impulsive excitations using a diatomic solute in condensed phase (iodine in carbon tetrachloride) with aid of spectral dispersion of the chirped broadband probe. Most importantly, we show how a sum over intensities for a select region of detection wavelengths and Fourier transform of data over select temporal window untwine contributions from vibrational modes of different origins. Thus, in a single pump-probe experiment, vibrational features specific to solute as well as solvent are disentangled that are otherwise spectrally overlapping and are non-separable in conventional (spontaneous/stimulated) Raman spectroscopy employing narrowband excitation. We envision wide-ranging applications of this method to unveil vibrational features in complex molecular systems. 相似文献

2 a and 2 b , [Ir(CI)(COD)(NHC)] (COD=1,5-cyclooctadiene), have been prepared via transmetallation from NHC−Ag complexes. [Rh(CI)(COD)(NHC)] ( 4 ) was prepared analogously. [Ir({κ-C,N-(NHC-acetamide−1H)}(COD)] ( 3 c ) has been synthesized via transmetallation from the deprotonated NHC−Ag complex. [IrCp*({κ-C,N-(NHC-acetamide−1H)}] ( 5 ) (Cp*=pentamethylcyclopentadienyl), has been obtained analogously. [Ir(CI)(CO)2(NHC)] ( 6 ) and [Ir({κ-C,N-(NHC-acetamide−1H)}(CO)2] ( 7 ) have been prepared by carbonylation of 2 b and 3 c , respectively. The catalytic activity of these complexes has been evaluated in the dehydrogenation of formic acid, under solventless conditions, in the presence of water as a cosolvent, and in a 5 : 2 HCOOH/Et3N mixture, with the best TOF values being obtained in the case of the latter. Clarithromycin is a very important macrolide antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections in human and veterinary medicine. This study reports the development and validation of cost-effective, simple, precise, accurate, and robust high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) for the determination of clarithromycin (CLA) in tablets. Reversed-phase chromatography was conducted using a standard column at 55°C with ultraviolet detection at 215 nm. A mobile phase consisting of acetonitrile –2-methyl-2-propanol –potassium phosphate buffer was used at a flow rate of 1.0 mL/min. The proposed method displayed good linearity, precision, accuracy, robustness, and specificity. The present HPLC was compared with capillary electrophoresis and bioassay methods and the results indicated that there was no significant difference between these methods. Moreover, the obtained results demonstrated the validity of the isocratic HPLC, which allows reliable quantitation of CLA in pharmaceutical samples. Thus, it can be used as a substitute alternative methodology for the routine quality control of this medicine, in situations where other methods are less accessible in the laboratory. 相似文献

Polyurethane microcapsules were prepared by mini‐emulsion interfacial polymerization for encapsulation of phase‐change material (n‐docosane) for energy storage. Three steps were followed with the aim to optimize synthesis conditions of the microcapsules. First, polyurethane microcapsules based on silicone oil core as an inert template with different silicone oil/poly(ethylene glycol)/4,4′‐diphenylmethane diisocyanate wt % ratio were synthesized. The surface morphology of the capsules was analyzed by scanning electronic microscopy (SEM) and the chemical nature of the shell was monitored by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT‐IR). Capsules with the silicone oil/poly(ethylene glycol)/4,4′‐diphenylmethane diisocyanate 10/20/20 wt % ratio showed the best morphological features and shell stability with average particle size about 4 μm, and were selected for the microencapsulation of the n‐docosane. In the second stage, half of the composition of silicone oil was replaced with n‐docosane and, finally, the whole silicone oil content was replaced with docosane following the same synthetic procedure used for silicone oil containing capsules. Thermal and cycling stability of the capsules were investigated by thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA) and the phase‐change behavior was evaluated by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). 相似文献

The binding abilities of a set of structurally related aminopyrrolic synthetic receptors for mannosides, endowed with antimycotic activity against yeast and yeast‐like pathogens bearing mannoproteins on their cell surface, have been investigated towards the highly mannosylated gp120 and gp41 glycoproteins of the HIV envelope. A pronounced binding interaction with both glycoproteins was observed by SPR for most of the investigated compounds. Comparison of their binding properties towards the glycoproteins with their binding affinities toward mannosides revealed a direct correlation, supporting their role as carbohydrate binding agents (CBAs). Cytostatic activity studies revealed antiproliferative activity dependent on the nature and the structure of compounds. Antiviral activity studies against a broad panel of DNA and RNA viruses showed inhibitory effect against HIV infection of the T‐lymphocyte CEM cell line for two compounds, suggesting antiviral activity similar to other CBAs, such as the nonpeptidic pradimicin antibiotics. 相似文献

Pickering emulsions are surfactant‐free dispersions of two immiscible fluids that are kinetically stabilized by colloidal particles. For ecological reasons, these systems have undergone a resurgence of interest to mitigate the use of synthetic surfactants and solvents. Moreover, the use of colloidal particles as stabilizers provides emulsions with original properties compared to surfactant‐stabilized emulsions, microemulsions, and micellar systems. Despite these specific advantages, the application of Pickering emulsions to catalysis has been rarely explored. This Minireview describes very recent examples of hybrid and composite amphiphilic materials for the design of interfacial catalysts in Pickering emulsions with special emphasis on their assets and challenges for industrially relevant biphasic reactions in fine chemistry, biofuel upgrading, and depollution. 相似文献

Low molecular weight polyisobutylenes (PIB) with chlorine, olefin and succinic acid end‐groups were studied using direct analysis in real time mass spectrometry (DART‐MS). To facilitate the adduct ion formation under DART conditions, NH4Cl as an auxiliary reagent was deposited onto the PIB surface. It was found that chlorinated adduct ions of olefin and chlorine telechelic PIBs, i.e. [M + Cl]? up to m/z 1100, and the deprotonated polyisobutylene succinic acid [M? H]? were formed as observed in the negative ion mode. In the positive ion mode formation of [M + NH4]+, adduct ions were detected. In the tandem mass (MS/MS) spectra of [M + Cl]?, product ions were absent, suggesting a simple dissociation of the precursor [M + Cl]? into a Cl? ion and a neutral M without fragmentation of the PIB backbones. However, structurally important product ions were produced from the corresponding [M + NH4]+ ions, allowing us to obtain valuable information on the arm‐length distributions of the PIBs containing aromatic initiator moiety. In addition, a model was developed to interpret the oligomer distributions and the number average molecular weights observed in DART‐MS for PIBs and other polymers of low molecular weight. Cumulative evidence strongly supports that the amyloid and tau hypotheses are not mutually exclusive, but concomitantly contribute to neurodegeneration in Alzheimer′s disease (AD). Thus, the development of multitarget drugs which are involved in both pathways might represent a promising therapeutic strategy. Accordingly, reported here in is the discovery of 6‐amino‐4‐phenyl‐3,4‐dihydro‐1,3,5‐triazin‐2(1H)‐ones as the first class of molecules able to simultaneously modulate BACE‐1 and GSK‐3β. Notably, one triazinone showed well‐balanced in vitro potencies against the two enzymes (IC50 of (18.03±0.01) μM and (14.67±0.78) μM for BACE‐1 and GSK‐3β, respectively). In cell‐based assays, it displayed effective neuroprotective and neurogenic activities and no neurotoxicity. It also showed good brain permeability in a preliminary pharmacokinetic assessment in mice. Overall, triazinones might represent a promising starting point towards high quality lead compounds with an AD‐modifying potential. 相似文献
